Candace's children are her greatest source of pride and happiness.
Candace joined the team in November 2019. It was the passionate love for her children expressed above and going through her own divorce that convinced her to spend the rest of her life helping others in a similar situation. Candace went back to school after her divorce and graduated from McLennan Community College with a paralegal certificate in 2007. She continued her education after that at Tarleton State University earning a B.B.A. in 2009. After initially starting in the worker’s comp and social security areas of law, Candace finally found a position doing what she really wanted fighting for client's families - just as she had done for her own.
Outside of the office Candace enjoys music, books, "do it yourself" projects and taking in the beauty of Cameron Park.
Candace has said, "I always knew since my experience that I had a heart for other family law clients. I want to help them through what is undoubtedly one of the hardest times of their lives."
