Keishla "Kei" Carrero joined the firm in 2022 as a Legal Assistant. She has since been promoted to Assistant Office Manager.

Kei was born and raised in the small town of Aguada in Puerto Rico. She then followed her love of sun and sand to Florida in 2016 when she was 21. Not long after, her love of her husband surpassed her love of sunny beaches and she moved to Texas where her husband is stationed in the United States Army.

Kei is currently in her junior year of college earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She looks forward to attending law school once she finishes her degree. It is that aspiration and interest in the legal field that have made her such a great asset for the B&T team. Kei brings B&T another employee with a sharp intellect and a keen attention to detail, and she combines that with a disposition as sunny as her home state.

Kei enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and running in her spare time. She is also active in weightlifting and CrossFit when she is not busy being an adoring dog and cat mom, and mother to her greatest joy in life.
